So, now I can buy a Ryzen 9 5900x, but since I use GPU rendering, I don't fully understand if I really need it. I watched the tests in blender, the video card is faster there, but maybe the result is different here...
That depends on what you need to render. If everything in your scene does fit into your vram go with GPU. If you need to render VDBs and a lot of hair on displaced creatures go with CPU.
