Hi guys
I'm just wondering if this would be possible: creating shaders in i.e. maya, exporting them as ASS-files, loading that into another dcc say houdini and then use operators to assign them to other objects? (i added the maya-shader path to the search path, so rendering the ASS file works just fine)
I did some tests and as long as I would just reassign those shaders to objects inside the ASS everything works fine, but when I try to assign the same shader to a "native" houdini object I get an "unresolved reference" error... I'm not quite sure why this is, could that be something about namespaces?
Cheers,
Flo
