decay rate changing isn't working

hi ! im using arnold render view and maya point light . i can see the light in my renderview scene but when i change decay rate , it isn't effect . it is not about intensity . linear , quadratic , cubic options isnt working .

looks like being arnold a physically based renderer only physically based light decay effectively works.
