Where's the OSL node in MtoA?

Hi,

Been trying to locate the OSL node inside Maya but couldn't find it anywhere.

It's documented in the node reference manual here https://support.solidangle.com/display/A5NodeRef/osl

Maya 2018.2, MtoA 2.1.0.3, MacOS 10.13.

Thanks!

This node is hidden by default - if you go to your mtoa.mtd file, you can see the following:

[node osl]
	desc STRING "OSL-based shader"
	maya.name STRING "aiOslShader"
	maya.id INT 0x00115D56
maya.classification STRING "shader/surface" maya.hide BOOL true

Set maya.hide to false to unhide it. I'm not sure why it's hidden - maybe it's for a good reason.

Off-topic but hey ho - It'll be back soon. Just had to get another project released first, it took up all my time.
