Orthographic camera not visible in Arnold Render view menu

Often I need to render in Front orthographic view but the camera is not available in Arnold Render view pulldown menu (or Render/camera/) even when it is the active camera. How do I add it?  The only cameras in these menus appear to be perspective and custom cameras. 

If I select this front camera in Render Settings I can batch render from that view but it won't show up in Arnold render view.  Really annoying, thanks for any help with this.

If I add front as a renderable camera, then it shows up in the Arnold RenderView

Or I can create a camera, and in the Arnold section, set Camera Type to orthographic

Thanks for the reply. It has been like this for as long as I can remember, even through many times deleting preferences. Any suggestions as to what else I can try to get this to work correctly?

If you make it Renderable it should appear in the Arnold RenderView camera list. You will need to either Render -> Update Full Scene or close/reopen the window to see it there.
