Mix of two standard_surfaces with transmission hangs the render still happening

Hi there!
Ive seen that the latest version of arnold is supposed to have fixed this, but mixing two shaders with transmission, both on layer shader and mix shader, completelly hangs arnold.

If the mix is either 0, or 1, it works fine, but any value between freezes arnold, it just gets stuck at 100% usage and freezes maya.

Basically I am mixing a shader with and without thin film, and there is no way that I can think of to blend those two, as making a gradient from 0-300 on film thickness, for example, will rapidly change colors and not make a linear blend.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your time!

Looks like that fix wasn't merged into the 6.1.0.1
Unfortunately, you'll have to wait for next Arnold update (I checked, and it's working in our internal builds).

Thanks for the info! I will have to make a custom AOV for the transition gradients and make two renders then, not ideal but I dont see a way out.
Thanks again
