Hi
I've been reading through the documentation about aiHair and cleaning up noise.
I noticed a contradiction that I would like to get an opinion on please.
Image1:
Image2:
The first image states that when Transparency Depth is set to 0, MPW will be disabled, but in image 2, it states that MPW will still have an effect when transparency depth is set to 0. Which is the case?
Thanks

Probably the first sentence meant to say ..
'Setting the Transparency Depth to 0 will always disable MPW transparency mechanism on all the hair in the scene'.
So both sentences together mean something like this .. that when you have Transparency Depth set to 0 you will not have the MPW transparency kicking in for when the hair get thinner than the MPW threshold but you'll still have your hair rendered no more thinner than the MPW threshold (ie. the hairs will stay at ie. MPW=0.5 and you won't have the transparency trick kicking in when they'll try to go thinner).
Clear as mud ? (cit.)
If transparency_depth is too low, then it's like you have enlarged, opaque hairs. If you go to transparency_depth=0, then that's like enlarging hairs but not changing their opacities.
