Auto Bump amount control in displacment

Straight forward question really. It would be nice to have some control over the bump amount when auto bump box is checked under the displacement node. Can't seem to get the same result if I choose to add a 2Dbump node manually.

Autobump is designed to simulate the remaining detail in the displacement map that could not be used in modifying the geo's faces. Because of that displacement + autobump and bump2d will not match in general.

If you want to control a more detailed bump it's best to try what you did and split it into displacement and bump2d, and tweak the amount for the detail in the bump2d node.
