Hi,
I am working with Maya 2018 education version and Arnold 3.2.0.1. Today I was unable to connect to the license server and so was unable to batch render, but could still render to the render window. We were able to reestablish the connection and now the 3000 licenses can be found. However, now I can no longer batch render nor render to the render window, which just hangs as a blue screen. I have performed a batch render of two frames and attached the Arnold render log. The error in the script editor reads:
# Error: line 1: 123
# Traceback (most recent call last):
# File "<maya console>", line 1, in <module>

I look forward to your assistance with this rendering issue,
Thank you,
Maja

The render never starts.
You're trying to create a folder with an illegal character in the name: "<"
It looks like a problem with how the Image file prefix is set.
Damn it! Missing one chevron in the file name prefix. Batch and render view rendering now working...
Thanks so much Stephen.
