Are hidden objects exported with .ass files?

Just a quick question today - if I export an .ass sequence of a scene containing hidden objects, are those included in the .ass files? If I'm hiding say, part of an environment to have a clear line of sight for a shot, I'd rather not have to delete it from a scene prior to exporting to .ass, but I also want to keep the file sizes of the sequences down.

EDIT: As usual, forgot to have my coffee before asking questions. Realized this would take two seconds to test... yes, .ass files with hidden geometry are significantly smaller than ones with the geometry visible.

Yes, if they are hidden in Maya these objects won't be exported at all.

The only exception is during IPR sessions, where hiding a node that was previously rendered behaves differently. But in .ass export it's just skipped.
