Doesn't arnold_usd support animation? I exported an arnold_usd with animation from Maya, but when I imported it into Katana by arnoldusdPlugin, I found that there was no animation.

any idea? thanks

Did you use the ArnoldIn node, or UsdIn node?

ArnoldIn or UsdIn can support animation but there is no material assigned when rendering, even if there is a material in usd, ArnoldUsd is the most perfect when rendering

Both ArnoldIn and UsdIn should be capturing materials and their assignments. If not, please provide a repro scene because that's a bug and we should fix it. ArnoldUsd generates a renderer procedural, which is an uneditable black box for Katana, so it's less than ideal, but it does pass the USD data through as-is to Arnold.

In any case, ArnoldUsd is supposed to pass the current shutter information through to the procedural and in theory should be bringing in animation data, so if that's not happening that smells like a bug too. If you can pass us a repro I'd love to take a look at it.
