Discrete capture of the (emissive) source of a light group

Hi!

I want to render shaders.arnoldLightParams.camera --> 1 lights into the same lightgroup as the illumination contribution each light makes. I would have sworn that direct renders of light sources were written into lightgroups in earlier Arnold versions as I leveraged the ability for a project a couple years back.

Currently, one of my lightgroups is called "light_group_1".

C.*<L.'light_group_1'>
RGBA_light_group_1
will both render the contribution but ignores the light itself. I think LPE also used to record the direct render of the light itself.

CO
C.*O
will currently write the light itself to an AOV, but without any flexibility, and

C<O.*'light_group_1'>
C<O.'light_group_1'>
do not seem to be respected, so I appear to be stuck.

I note custom shaders seem to be expected to be able to support this kind of syntax: Light Path Expression AOVs - Arnold User Guide > custom labels:

"emission_fire C<O.'fire'>"

however this does not seem to be the case using standard light shaders currently.

Thank you for any help or advice!
