Solaris Texture TX only updates after 'Flush Solaris textures' and restart

Hi all

  • We are having an issue with the updating of tx textures when there has been a change to the tiff file in the same folder.

Tx files only reflect the update one we run ' Flush Solaris Textures' and restart the Houdini scene.

The only other way to fix it is by tx'ing the tiffs in a new folder.

Thanks so much, any assistance or suggestions would be great!

Flush textures and Restart Render are required to force an update of a tx file.

For reference, the ticket number for this is:

HTOA-2578

Hi Stephen, thanks so much for reply. I had forgotten to add that after updating the tx and flushing textures, Solaris crashes on render?

I didn't get any crashes when I was testing this.
