HtoA for Arnold not working

Hey there,

I have just got a free trial for HtoA which is showing my license in Houdini fine but when I try to render, the render tab shows black with 'Generating scene...' text.

It also comes up with a 'No licenses found' error when I try to render to disk.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks

I have the same problem. And I can't sign in in the license manager to get my (trial) license:

I only get this message if running as root. When running as a user I don't get any kind of error at all.

I'm on a Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) system.

@yuseitadatry to use Arnold in Solaris instead of ROP

@joachimELBE2license manager only works on RHEL/Rocky/Alma. On any other distro you will not be able to sign in.

@Stephen.Blairafter new debug update the logs show that "generating scene" problem in ROP might be caused by AiMakeTx. This is in most basic scene without any textures. I don't know how no one from Autodesk is able to replicate this for so long but if you give me 1 year free license I will be happy to set up cloud VM with RDP so you can finally debug this. If you check forums most of people in here complain about this problem and it has been here for almost half year.
