Arnold 7 (C4DtoA 4.0.0) now has support for the new node system. Please note, that the feature is still in beta and has some limitations: https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=149225944
All feedback are welcome.
Overall really nice to see Arnold working in the new Node Editor. Having to switch the Node Space through the render menu was throwing me off until I read the documentation about it auto switching based on the active renderer.
1. In r25 is there a way view the Arnold only shader list without using the pop up or the awful new Asset Browser?
2. Is material stacking planned for a future release? It feels more intuitive than using multiple uv sets the way that Redshift requires.
3. Is there a way to view all available inputs to a node instead of using the pop up?

Customization of the Node Editor is limited and we mainly rely on the native features and look. Afaik the shader list is available in the popup only.

It's planned, although afaik Node Materials don't support it natively. I have some ideas how to add it.

Like 1., our playground is limited. There's an option in the popup to add all input ports to the node, not sure if that's what you're looking for.
1. Was able to recreate the old node-list-on-left using a custom layout. Not as elegant but gets the job done.
2. I use material stacking a lot for labels, so +1 vote for that.
3. Didn't see the "Add Input" menu. Was looking only at the "Show All Ports" section. Thanks for the clarification.
@Peter Horvath I think there is one bug in New node editor ,the attributes tab will be hidden automatically once I change any parameter of Arnold nodes in new node editor
@Peter Horvath the application is very easy crash if using new nod editor ,especially color_corrector node i found on macos C4D R25
Hi dear ,please kindly check the video by the link

I tested with a very simple scene ,there are only one sphere and one plane ,it crashed twice when I adjusted color_correct node frequently ( if a little complex scene ,maybe just adjust the Gamma or switch colorspace ,it will crash immediately .
thanks for your attention
regards
Hi dear Peter ,thanks for the updating ,it s better much than before ,but it always crash if I add layer-shader node to new node editor ,please try thanks
