I searched the net and forums, but from what i see, it is still not possible to render quads with the Wireframe shader in Arnold for Max. I got the latest versions of both. I found topics in different forums from 2 years ago. It seems that they did not change this issue still. It is really sad to see that Arnold is not working properly in Max. The viewport is also not showing maps or textures when using Arnold-Shaders still ...

I just tried it out, it is still not working. Does not matter what i chose from the dropdown (triangles, polygons, patches), it is just rendering triangles. Does it work for anyone else? Or do i do something wrong? I connect the Wireframe-Map to Opacity, making the fill color black and the lines white for testing. It seems still broken to me. Maybe we get an update in the near future, like 2145.

Did you set the Geometry Translation mode in the render setup? Or did you enable subdivision on the object?
