Can you screengrab your geo/settings/shaders/renders, please? Does increasing volume_ray_depth help?

hi Lee thanks for getting back to me   increasing  ray depth doesn't make any difference  just 1 diffuse ray renders the same as 5 on every ray depth item !    I have tried hundreds of options cant seem to get around it    I have two planes in the background and a cube right under the volume.   the volume should be bright red

many thanks kind regards

Thomas

It looks like the way the circular ramp is being used in the volume_displacement is causing it to look like this. I would maybe use a camera_projection with the circular ramp.

Also, the HDR textures seem to be mixed up. The Sven texture is in the skydome_light.

hi oh i see just deleting the ramp and it gets rid of the anomaly.   I will try a camera projection  UV map  later today when I have a moment.  great ! thanks

re HDR. I have only one HDR map attached to one skydome and no texture called Sven ?   could you elaborate please as I dont understand    many thanks thomas
