Discrepancy between active shader and production mode rendering

Hello,

I am trying to figure out this difference in rendering between active shader (which looks as expected) and production mode (way too bland/dark). I am using 3ds max 2022 (student version), latest version of arnold  (MaxtoA 5.3.0.6). Lighting is based on Sun Positioner / Physical Sun & Sky. I have tried about everything I could think of to fix the issue myself. And sofar I have not found anyone with experience using the Physical Sun & Sky / Sun Positioner with Arnold in 3ds max, expect for an official autodesk tutorial, which I follow to the letter.

Would really appreciate some help.

Thanks,

XaVe

ActiveShade and Production are two different render settings. Meaning, whatever you do in Activeshade isn't copied to Production. To use the IPR, use the Arnold render View and stay in Production mode. No need to jump between the different modes.

Also, press 8 and remove any exposure control

You have the Arnold Imagers for Exposure, Tonemapping, etc.
