Surface Fillet Tool Button to Kill the running operation

Hello Alias developers,

after using Alias for 15 years now, I am frustrated to wait for fillet operations that fail and run forever without an option to stop the calculation. Currently the only way to stop the tool, is to close Alias down and start over again!? There must be a button implemented in the "Surface Fillet Control Window" to stop a running calculation immediately. 

Improvements like this would really boost the User Experience. Make the software stable and good for professional users instead of adding tiny niche tools and minor tweaks for every release. I am modelling every day for hours, like all modelers in e.g. car industry and can`t loose time on waiting because of a weak software performance. Hope I see the button in the 2023 release. Thanks

What processor are you using?

In any case, such a feature would help a lot. Whenever i use houdini it's nice to be able to just cancel a process or a bake with the escape key. regarding Alias; i wonder if in addition to being able to cancel; it would generate a very low fidelity calculation, and as it generates the intended one you could decide to cancel.

All tools actually could learn a thing or two from one another, you really notice this when you begin learning a new software. While many of the solutions proposed have their own advantages, at a certain point i wish they would agree on some things. Though with that in mind I love that Alias tools are different (i've actually modified some of the hotkeys in other software to match ones used in Alias). It's a **** shame when you consider the possibilites, if only Alias had a bigger community. with a larger population and better access under the hood, to tweak tools and create our own; as in houdini; as in blender with addons, the userbase could help progress this beautiful software so much further. Anyway yeah you have my vote!

Alias is like the ark - built a very long time ago; one of a kind with features never seen before; those of us who could afford it, jumped onboard because it still out performs so many other CAID tools for surface generation and quality. It still floats, but the ark is leaking and constantly needs repairs to keep it afloat. I think it's time Autodesk pulled the plug, sunk the ark and start building the next powerhouse software with all the modern functionality and ease of use we should be taking for granted. I've been using Alias since version 3 and you learn to live with a leaky boat but I completely understand why new users scratch their heads in disbelief when trying to get onboard. You have my vote!
