Surface Continuity locators

Surface Continuity locators

At present some tools create surface continuity locators that do not update with history, it is therefore possible to have a surface edge that is shown as red or blue position issue and curvature continuous at the same time - the locators overlay each other when you do an 'Align' on a surface that has an existing locator. This is confusing and inaccurate.

Can you describe your workflow with an example? Are there other tools where it does work?

Thanks,

I don't believe that there is a single workflow that shows this issue - and it dosnt happen all the time, I have continuity locators turned on by default in most tools, so for example, if you create a surface with 'Square' with edge locators on, which may fail with 'explicit' on, then use 'Align' on the surface, sometimes you get the locator for the Align overlaid with the locator for the original 'square' operation - but this is only one example, it often happens if you devide a surface then re-align the subsequent surface, I have attached an image to show this ( the surfaces are deliberately overly distorted on purpose ).Duplicate Edge Locators.jpg
