Patch Precision Tool

Hi

Can it be possible to remove the Patch Precision lines on the surface by one button press.

Thank You

This would be one kind of two-button-removal (excluding choice of surface because this would be necessary either way if you want to address specific surfaces):

Hotkey Patch Precision before.

Press hotkey and klick-drag your mouse to the left - still quite fast I think

Thanks Marc

I think this can be a single button tool, because when we select the surface the Software knows and then just a Hot Key might do the Job. Like in case of Delete Guidelines tool, where we do not even select the Guidelines it is understood by the Software.

Problem with Klick-Drag of mouse is, most of the time it takes around two to three mouse pads lengths of mouse travel, which has to be done by redragging.

When I do the Klick-Drag with the mouse I can reach the maximum Patch Precision (not getting any more lines) by moving the mouse one to two inches. Maybe it has something to do with mouse speed and sensitivity. However, I don´t need to redrag, so this would be applicable for me. But I understand that you might not want to change your mouse speed (if that is really a factor in the tool), so your wish makes total sense to me 😃

Cheers,

Marc

Thanks for the idea. I will log a suggestion in our system and see what the team comes up with. Clearly you could type 0 and then ENTER but that's two key presses versus the desired one. But it might be better than multiple passes with your mouse.

Thanks,

Joe

You could just make a Hotkey for "Controlls off". Or use the one in the right Mouse Button marking Menue around 8 'o'clock.
