Keep shelves visible when toggling editor Windows off

I always use Ctrl + Space bar to hide all of the control and editor Windows when I am working so that I have a clear screen. It would be great if there was an option to keep the shelves visible all the time in the same way that the palette stays visible. I very rarely use the palette but having access to all my usual tools in my shelves at all times would be perfect. You can then toggle all the other Windows as before and use full screen for a true clear screen.

Check off Layouts>Full Screen>Hide Windows, is that OK for you?

  Hi terry.fan. It's not really what I was hoping to do but useful advice. 

  Ideally I would like to be able to set the shelves window to stay on screen like the palette does when I toggle all the other windows invisible (Ctrl + Space). That way I can work with a clean window but still select tools from the shelves. It would allow me to keep lots of other windows open but hidden for when I need them like the Stage Editor, Control Panel, Diagnostic Shade, Shaders, Variant Lister etc.

Hi Luke,

Another workaround is to dock the Shelf to the boundary of Alias, because docked window will  still be visible when pressing Ctrl + Space bar . With Shift key pressed and drag the Shelf title bar you can dock it.
