Here is a simple idea: make tool locator more powerful so it can be the default way to select tools in Alias.
So let's say I have the tool locator mapped to a hotkey, F12, and I want to use the freeform blend tool. I should be able to just push "F12, F, F, B, Return" and have the tool active.
Obviously tool you use a lot should still be assigned to a single hotkey on your primary machine, but for tools you don't use a lot, or if you are briefly using someone else's computer, having a universal search bar can be a lot faster than digging through the palette to find a tool you already know by name.
