Align reverse

Align reverse

At present the only way to create a reverse align curve or surface is to laboriously type in negative figures, please a 'reverse align' button to swap align direction

Hi Brian,

Do you mean you want a way to flip the direction to get a result like this?

reverse?reverse?

Yes, just so, there are particular workflows where this is a usefull thing to be able to do, and I would have thought that it would be easy to add a flip direction rather than type in a negative value?

Have you tried using extend linear and then aligning to the extended surface?

You won't have the history though I suppose which is a good argument for your suggestion.

Thanks for your suggestion, yes there are a few work-arounds, ( easiest is simply type in negative values for the continuity values), by the way if you want to use extend to do this, it would be best to use a extend extrapolate as you will not be able to achieve a correct G2 continuation from the linear extension.
