Snap to curve snaping in the wrong place

Hi.
I'm trying Alias Surface and sometimes I can't seem to "snap to curve" correctly.
The snap "curve" seems to be a little apart from the actual curve visualization (blue in the image).

Am I doing anything wrong? It snaps to the curve on other places, but some parts of it seem to be wrong. You can see it on the intersection marks (pink).

Thanks in advance.

Try adjusting your Menu Bar -> Object Display -> Draw Precision to 1.0000.

I also notice that gap. Does this adjustment affect memory performance?

I didn't notice. But can't tell how it is affected when the model is more
complex.

Its affecting dolly, pan and tumble speed. The more geometry you have in the scene, the more you will feel the effect. It is just a visual effect. It has no effect on the geometry. Its just the "tesseletion curve drawing" similar to the tesselation of shaded models. You can be sure the CV lands on the curve. The position of the snapped CV is actually showing the position of the curve in that point.

Draw prec. 0.5 is pretty exact.

Kind regards
