Shader transparency gradient not working when object is in front of a canvas.

When an object is in front of a canvas image, all of the shaders will not partially adjust their transparency. They will either be completely solid or switch instantly to fully transparent. No gradual change is possible.

However I've noticed that when part of an object does NOT have a canvas image behind it, the transparency gradient works just fine!

Any assistance would be appreciated.alias1.pngalias2.png

Hey Zythjr,

I would suggest you to move your canvas in front of the SUB-D  instead of keeping it behind the SUB-D and then apply transparency to your Canvas so you can see both at a time. It's a work around for now. I hope it will help you.

I also tried to apply transparency to sub-d and it's the same result as yours, may be its a BUG in Alias.

Let us know if you found other solution as well.

Thanks
