Autodesk alias M1 Snap on curve crash

Hey there,

I am desperate to find a solution to make alias work on my macbook pro.

Everything is functional, except snapping on a curve.

Each time the software crashes without even the classic error message.

I tell myself that there must be a connection with the shortcuts but I have tried everything, changed, uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing works.

Does anyone have a suggestion or an idea?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Are you running Alias via a Windows emulator (e.g. Parallels or Bootcamp) on your MacOS? If not then you'll need to get a PC; Alias is not supported on MacOS anymore. I had limited success running it on MacOS and ended up moving back to Windows.

Cheers Daniel

He mentions "M1", so it's not an old-style Intel MacBook Pro, so there's no bootcamp, which means he must be using Parallels.

@thibault.gratiasIs everything else working as normal, meaning ONLY the curve snapping malfunctions?
