Rotate object vs rotate cv different results

With a custom construction plane, the rotation results between the entire object and just CVs differ. It seems as if CV rotation doesn't respect the current construction plane axises? This is in Alias Design 2017.1.

Was the surface created while 'in' the construction plan, or world space?  You can try doing a Transform > Zero Transform to reset the scale and rotation values on the object while in the construction plane.

If you can please try that on the example file I attached and record a video of exactly how you did it, I'd appreciate it.

I posted a video and file because nothing I did seemed to work. I want to rotate around the construction plane's X axis but it doesn't look as if the CVs are doing that.

Well, in Alias Design 2017.1 I don't get the same results, so I guess my version is bugged. Yet another bug (simple bugs as well, just look through my posting history, I have dozens of them confirmed by Autodesk employees).

Again, did Autodesk sabotage the last permanently licensed release on purpose to force people to subscribe? (Or rather, we even still have a subscription, Autodesk just suddenly removed Alias from our package without any discount.) I guess you'll never own up to that, but wow, this is bad.

What is the build number in the about box? See the attached video from 2017.

That is super weird then. My build number is 4308.
