Problem with Render adjustments

Hi everbody!

I moved on an created an cylinder geometric type with a pictured mapped in it.

Although I am not yet that familiar with the adjustments I set the shadow, the incandescence and further. But when I go to render (chosen raytrace) I comes out that way:

What am I doing wrong? Please advise to get the picture above as high end rendering!

What do I have to do?

I assume the shadow in your screenshot is from the Hardware Shader's Environment Ground Plane and I can only see an Ambient light in your scene.

If this is correct, create another light...preferably a Directional or Spot light, and turn on Cast Shadows for that light.

Hi,

I succedded in positionating lights. In the perspective active view it looks ok and eveb shadows on the ground appear. Like here:Porzellantasse_5.PNG

But why dows this dome geometry dissapear when I render the scene:

R_04.jpg

It looks like, the three dimensional room is lost.

How adjust to make the dome geometry and the shadow on the ground visible?

The Hardware and Software renderers are vastly different.  You'll have to build a plane for the ground and assign a shader with a wood texture to it.

Better use a rendering software like Maxwell, Arion or Keyshot. Far better results. Quick to use. More intuitive.
