Opening or importing data from Nx into Alias 2017

I am having trouble importing data from NX into Alias 2017.

I have tried "open" and "import" to get the data in to Alias.

The error is "Translation of "FILENAME.prt"failed due to an unknown error. (1).

Any suggestions?

 What version of NX are you using? Alias 2017 is a few years old, if you are using a newer version of NX the files created may not be compatible...

 To confirm the file is not corrupt can you open it using NX? This will confirm it is a good file.

 I just opened/imported a few NX files into Alias V2018 and V2019 and it worked correctly...

 Is it possible to send the file?

Barry,

  I think you nailed it.  I was able to open a NXV9 file but trying to open NX V11 failed.

Hopefully this will influence my manager to upgrade to Alias 2019.  (I doubt it)
