Hey. Question about Alias Surface 2021. Perhaps this is a bug and was made on purpose - but not very convenient! On previous versions of the program (2019), when there are several subgroups within one group - when you press ungroup, the program showed the updated group without the detached part. Why, in the new version, when you press ungroup - all the parts continue to glow as if they were grouped. When pressed again, no ungrouping occurs at all!

I don't see that behavior in 2019.  What are you options for ungroup set to.

Above, I showed a screenshot from Alias 2019 - Ungroup was working. And this is the logical behavior of the program - if you ungroup a large group to a small one, then the details in the group become less. Why can I see this in my screenshot - but you don't?

Yes, but this is not logical - it should be like this: if you separate an element from the general group, it fade out and the number of parts in the group becomes less. Alias 2011 - 2019 worked like that. It still works for me. I checked it on another computer - it also works correctly there. Try to press ungroup twice.

The ungroup issue in Alias 2021.2 is valid and known as ALS-11743.
We are working on a fix.
