Hello all,

I'm having issues with my deviation map. Part of the deviation map isn't fully showing. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. Whatever view I turn my camera to in perspective, the map isn't fully there. It's only when I am in an orthographic view that the deviation map begins to show completely.

I don't know whether this is a problem isolated to Alias 2019, or my specific computer, or something else.

If anyone has any suggestions or has encountered this problem before, please let me know.

Hello,

Would it be possible to post some screen shots to help illustrate the issue?  It seems self explanatory but I am having a problem reproducing the issue myself?  Also, what version of Alias are we talking about (and what OS)?

Yeah. (I actually thought I had put picture attachements. I guess they didn't show up).

Hello,

It actually almost looks like the grid is just drawing over the shaded geometry?  If you toggle off the grid does the issue go away?

I found a solution that is similar to what you said. I moved the entire model up so that everything was above the grid (ground plane). The problem went away.

But thanks for helping me out! Had I not found that way, your answer would have probably solved the problem! 🙂
