With the curve selected, I selected Surfaces -> Planar and get the following error!
Error planarTrimSurface1 (Planar Trim Surface Node) failed to compute the result.
What am I doing wrong?

@natoawacs are you sure that your curves are planar? By the way, there is also a Dynamo Player script with similar functionality, if you want to try it. Which Alias version are you on?
