Error opening alias .wire files

I am attempting to open several Alias .wire files using Fusion 360 and I keep getting the same error message:

Version of the file format is not supported

Fusion 360 File > Open lists .wire as a supported file format

These files were created in Alias in the mid-90's.

I would appreciate any suggestions for opening these files

Is it possible I would have more success using the trial version of Alias? If so, any particular version?

Hello,

I think using the trial version of alias is to solve the issue. The error message suggests that the version of the .wire file format you have from the mid-90s is not supported by Fusion 360. You may need to convert the files to a different format or try using older version of Alias that supports the specific .wire file format you have.

Hello,

Thank you for responding to my inquiry. I really could use your advice or
perhaps you know of someone at Autodesk/Alias with experience in this kind
of dilemma. My goal is to translate these files into a more current/common
format such as OBJ, or STEP so that I can work with them.

Would you recommend installing the trial version of Alias? Due to the time
period (90's) these files were created in, would Autodesk have an older
version of Alias capable of reading and converting these files?
