Alias 2024.1 crashes at startup

I have been using the 2024.0 and 2024.1 Learning Editions for many months now and it has worked great. Then recently I tried to change a custom marking menu I had previously set up and Alias 2024.1 crashed and now it crashes at Startup every time.

I have tried to reinstall 2024.1 (+wipe all prefs that remained after uninstall) but it still crashes. 2024.0 still works but not 2024.1.

This is what the error log in "errlog2024" tells me:

Any idea of how to solve this? I feel like I can rule out hardware issues since I've used the 2024.1 version for many months without any problems whatsoever. But I have no idea of how to solve this. Help 🙂

removal of

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Alias\UserPrefs2024.1

directory (or rename) should fix the problem.  And if that's the case please zip up the preferences and post them here.

Thank you, that worked!! I can't believe I missed the folder in the AppData! Thanks!
