View Depth, Get the detail view manipulation back during drawings creation

Hello,

AS2017.1 came with a few improvements (I am glad to see the improvement about the background on dimension text and labels) and with one  not so well done 'improvement'-the dialog during drawings creation.

I apologize, but...what kind of ... decision is to kill the possibility to manipulate the detail view properties during the drawings creation?

Isn't this process supposed to become more and more sophisticated instead of more primitive?

Don't you guys have detailers in house who actually are trying to detail, or you have freshman staff from colleges only.

PLEASE-get the detail view manipulation back.

Also, using the view settings on "selected" items is no longer possible with the update . I realize the intent was to make drawing selection easier, but there are times we need the ability to depth and size to selected items.

Thanks for your feedback on this one. We definitely look into this. No ETA yet on when it might be coming but we will be sure to keep everyone posted.
