To be able to place X/Y global coordinates

With the coming of age of digital surveys we are being asked more and more for Anchor Bolt placement data in a glodal coordinate format (X/Y and Z axis) based on a predefined datum. It would be useful to be able to attach global coordinates to the Anchor Bolts and then add that information either directly in a layout drawing, or place a reference number/letter in the layout drawing and have the coordinate data in a tabular format.

I have been exploring Autodesk Point Layout, which is very good, so maybe some tools based on the functionality of Point Layout? Maybe a 'light' version of Point Layout? The main criteria would be that the point/coordinate data can be placed in Advance Steel at design and also be used from site back to Advance Steel for verification following a site survey.

The “Z” coordinate would be great, to pick off RL’s for Top of Footings or undersides of baseplates.
