There should be an option to show the features of isolated parts
one reason to isolate parts is to have a closer look at them. But it is not possible to see their feature. No chance to take care of double features or punch marks...
An option to show the features of isolated parts is needed.
I want to see the symbols of the features that are shown in representation mode "features". The features of part get hidden when the part gets isolated....no way to discover double holes or even see punchmarks.
Are you using AutoCAD's Isolate Objects? That doesn't understand Advance Steel objects properly. Try using the Advance Steel command "Quick Views > Show only selected objects" on the palette instead. This isolated the selected items but you can still change the representation mode to see the features etc.
To end isolation you can use Quick Views > All visible. Unfortunately this turns on a lot of stuff you probably don't wan tot see too (like Model View boxes, joint boxes, work planes etc.) Try using the eye icon at the end of the toolbar in Project Explorer instead and that brings back just the stuff you want to see.
