Give user control of numbering sequences

Hi,

The user should be able to control the sequence in numbering. Instead of just using the overrall number of equal parts and the object type and the name as criteria for the sequence of part numbers, the user should be able to define a sequence of criteria that are based on the properties of the parts. (Type, section type, geometric properties (Length, height, width, thickness for plates) and so on. (Look at the numbering structure of ProSteel e.g.). For assemblies the properties of the main part should get used (until Advance Steel gets a three or four level group structure implemented and groups will be objects with their own properties.......)

This is very important fabricators to have sorted BOM that does make sense, not random preliminary numbers.

Sorting can be done by depth for W-flanges, by leg and thickness for angles, by thickness for plates.

I have submitted this at least 3-4 times to tech support, and I see other AS users are asking this to be done.

Dev's-I know this won't get many votes-but please consider it to be done as soon as possible.
