is this an idea or a question? for questions...there's a forum- but to answering this: there's no option for this, you could "unregister" the detail from the model
It would be great if you mark a detail as approved then AS can either warn you that you are making a change to an approved part or stop you all together. The way it's handled can be a management tool option.
