Many BIM software packages I have used allow the user to edit the bill of material in a table style environment. This is crucial to miscellaneous fabrication shops. I would like to see more freedom and control for the user to edit naming and properties in the BOM.
As mentioned in the article, BOM table need to additional function.
It need more freedom such as cut by row and make it separate as continues table from original. It can help rearrange the location of the table and makes fit into a sheet border line.
In case when the modeling has contained many parts the table goes over the sheet border line.
BOM table in Advance Steel is not editable as much as it needs.
