Custom Numbering MP and SP

It would be nice if Advance Steel can associate MP with an alpha character or even numbers during the Numbering - identical part detection and then have the alpha characters and numbers go in sequence thereafter, when BOM's are generated.  Also, to have the capability to reverse the MP and SP.  I have attached an Illustration for an example to see.

Hi @Dday04 
I think this is already possible with the following steps.

  • open the Management Tools and the Tableeditor
  • open the databases and filter for "post"
  • open the table "PostNumberSolution" of the AstorBase and copy the line "Assembly Group":
    Sebastian_Eiche_0-1640765499024.png
  • now you could change the SPTemplate to adjust the letter aterwards the MP number:
    Sebastian_Eiche_1-1640765563449.png
