Concrete fillet pan stairs macro improvements

Concrete fillet pan stairs macro improvements

Hello,

If I am using the Advance Steel macro for concrete fillet pan stairs I am not going to be faster than detailer using plain AutoCAD.

Treads shall fit in to one another, the light gauge material shall be available in Advance Steel.

Currently Advance Steel macro for these type of stairs DOES NOT MAKE STAIRS DETAILING FASTER.

We use 1/8" plate:

1. Re-name it for example 12 ga

2. Explode BOM and enter real material

3. Change detail titles manually

4. Change external lists manually to show 12ga.
5. Make landing pans lay-out and create bent plates without macro

We also have to make the bent treads lay-out first in plain AutoCAD, and this does not make any sense.

Regards,

Ilko Dimitrov

It would be very helpful if we had a separate macro for the pans at the landings, by selecting the perimeter steel and elevation and or supporting angles as a reference point.

Status changed to: Future Consideration

Thank you for this idea. We will investigate the options to improve the stair macro and take it in consideration for a future release.

best regards

Udo
