when modifying parts and assemblies already issued for construction is critical to know if the part and/or assembly are 1 of N in the job and so will be needing a new part/assembly number as it no longer matches its brethren or if it is already a unique item and so can continue with the same numbers.
Currently the easiest way to ascertain this is to open the part and assembly drawings for the member. Would be so much easier if the part and assembly quantity were shown in the rollover tip or quick properties like the part and assembly numbers are.
