add a ON OFF button under compass position

Maybe this has been addressed before?

I would like a button in the frame window attached below to turn on or off the compass. Layers don't keep with updates, and really don't want to create a deep custom drawing style to eliminate the compass. Some E-plans i create have 10 details on one drawing and all i need is the 1-master plan compass, not all 10 of them.

Is this an easy option to add below?

This is a great idea as it helps to eliminate creating a custom drawing style for each process or style!

In addition to an "off" button, it would be great to have a "Bottom Center" button. Reasoning for this is left and right locations many times make me re-scale the plans to a less desirable (smaller) scale size to keep the compass/arrow on the page.
