Abilty to rotate veribale grating quikly

so i would like to be able to rotate variable grating's run direction   as in going from  grating 2 to grating 3 (see pic below)

now  it is very esey to change 2 to 3 u can clik on grating select grip point of rotate thing in midel and then select the mid point of the other side of the grating

but  in reality grating offen got lots of notchest  ,  and so the mid point no longer works , and for sum reson even if u have  un-notched corners  u would think u could use "midpoint between 2 points" to snap to midpoint of grating but no this dont work, repeted it 3 time's never work dont know y

so u need to put in a construction line and move it to the rite  place then use it to snap to , witch depending on how u count its 16to19 steps

select grating

select rotate thing grip point

clik end of line

now lets see if we can do thins in 4 steps 

double click grating

click positioning

click rotate 90 (see pic)
