Solved: wrong view on detail drawing

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why the one time i get a front view and a top view of my beam and on another drawing a front view and a bottom view ....??

These are both beams so i dont get it...

Hi @Anonymous

So on the first view you have gusset plates in the Web so the system will run a top view to position those

For the second beam there are holes in the bottom flange so the system runs a bottom view to show and dimension those, if you had top flange holes on this beam you would get a top and bottom view

These views are controlled by the nessesary view wizard

Dear Experts,

I think the Front view of the main part is hardcoded or somewhere deep inside the databases(AstorSetings)

For every profiles the Front view decider is prefilled which controls v, u o h, conditions of NC files also

And also for ECS(Entity Coordinate Systems for auto set of camera)
