Working with round objects; Pipe, Round bar, etc.

I have been using AutoCAD for a long time and just recently got Advance Steel.  I do a lot of structural modeling with pipe shapes. I have noticed when Advance Steel draws round bar, pipe or any other rounded object  it doesn't draw it as a smooth arc.  Its a random number of polylines that make up the circle shape.  This poses a couple problems because when dealing with round plate I am not able to pull a radius or diameter dimensions because the object is not technically an arc or circle. Also when laying out the drawings it isn't visually as nice as normal CAD since the arcs are so jagged. I have attached a picture of a normal pipe that Advance Steel produces.   Any advice or any way around this?

When you create the drawings via the advance steel drawing processes, it should change these to circles/arcs etc.

The elements you reference are only in the modelling part. You can use normal autocad, arcs and line to set out elements, really depends on what you are trying to do.

Try also a bigger  value for this default:

It impacts the modeling precision representation. The downward could be a decrease on 3d model speed, depending on value, model size.....
