Weld Pad Base Plate

I have created a custom connection that is a weld pad base plate. The problem I have is that, it comes in perpendicular to the angled column. How do I get it to come in square to the world?

this is a setting in the baseplate connection.

double click on the customer joint and "allow editing" , then open the baseplate connection and in the baseplate layout you could set the alignment:

Hi,

Just curious but what makes this a custom connection?

I looks like a normal base plate?

I'm trying to build a weld pad. The anchors themselves would be welded to the base plate and embed in the concrete. When I try the base plate function I don't see that as an option. So I created a custom connection. If there is a better way to do this I'm happy to hear?

Right now I've extruded the shape of a headed stud.

You could create an anchor to use in the base plate connection, the only issue is they are not welded to the base plate.
