How to get the weld lines to show up on drawings?

I have drawn welds by "line of weld command".

When I generate drawings I see no weld line, only labels.

What settings should I use in Drawing Style manager for Weld line Object Presentation?

I would like the welds to show up as by using command "insert weld line" on drawings.

Thank you for using Advance Steel Forum 🙂

The weld lines from the 3D model are not shown in the detail drawing. Only the weld symbols / labels are shown, like for weld point.

This is a limitation of current implementation.

Maybe you could post a feature request on the Advance Steel Idea Station portal - to enhance the current behavior. In this way other users are able to contribute and vote for your idea, while the management team is actively monitoring this portal.

Hi @vuk.vukanic,

Indeed, the weld line symbol (the one you get by using the command "Insert weld line" in the detail drawing) can be created only manually.

You cannot add it automatically, by customizing the drawing style.

Quando estou a utilizar o Advance Steel na elaboração de desenhos de detalhe, quando quero selecionar soldaduras nos desenhos, só me aparece a linha de chamada e não aparece o simbolo do tipo de junta/soldadura.

Conseguem me ajudar?
